Shirin Migishima is one of the two playable protagonists in BLEACH Mirrors High, a brand-new Soul Reaper created for the game and designed by series creator Tite Kubo himself. When you start the story, you pick either Shirin or Shirane Sanari, both new members of the 13 Court Guard Squads posted to Karakura Town after the Thousand-Year Blood War arc.
What we know
- She’s an original character: Shirin doesn’t show up anywhere in the manga or anime. Kubo was in on this game from the very first kickoff meeting and drew up both protagonists himself.
- Kubo, in his own words: “I have been involved from the kickoff meeting and worked on the title, scenario, and character designs,” and, on creating the two new Soul Reapers, “I got so excited working on them and ended up doing more than what was requested.”
- Voice actor: Chiaki Kobayashi, announced July 11, 2026.
- Where she fits in the story: a Soul Reaper freshly stationed in Karakura Town. Kubo has said the game’s original story is “partly related to the main scenario of the comics.”
Not yet revealed
Her combat kit, progression, and in-game stats are still under wraps at Bandai Namco. The Closed Beta Test (July 23–30 JST) should be the first real look at how the protagonists actually play, so that’s when the picture fills in.
