Shirane Sanari is the second playable protagonist of BLEACH Mirrors High, revealed alongside Shirin Migishima at Anime Expo 2026. Like Shirin, Shirane is an original Soul Reaper designed by Tite Kubo. You pick one of the two and live out the game’s story as a fresh member of the 13 Court Guard Squads in Karakura Town.
What we know
- Original character. Shirane was made for the game, and Kubo was in on the design from the very first kickoff meeting.
- Kubo’s own words. He handled the title, scenario, and character designs, and said of the new protagonists, “I got so excited working on them and ended up doing more than what was requested.”
- Voice actor. Maria Sashide, announced on July 11, 2026.
- Story setting. The game picks up after the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, running an original scenario Kubo calls “partly related to the main scenario of the comics.”

There’s no combat kit, stats, or gameplay footage for Shirane yet. The first confirmed details should show up during the Closed Beta Test (July 23–30 JST), so check back once that’s live.
